What stays on your device
Screenshots are framed and exported in your browser. The PNG zip is built locally. Project JSON, including the images, is saved in your browser’s storage and in any file you download. ShotKit’s server does not receive the screenshot files.
What the server stores
Your email address, sign-in tokens, checkout records, and purchases (product, project, amount, and payment method). Tokens expire. Purchases are kept so a later export can stay clean.
Translation
If you translate headlines, the headline text and language codes may be sent to a translation service. Screenshots are not. When that service is not connected, translation uses a built-in glossary and stays on the server.
Payments
Card and USDC payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your email, the amount, and the billing details the checkout asks for. ShotKit does not receive your card number.
When email sign-in is on, a login link is sent to your inbox. Until then, sign-in is a cookie on this browser. A purchase can be opened on another browser only with the restore code shown on the receipt.
California privacy rights
ShotKit does not sell personal information. You can ask for the email and purchase records tied to your address, and you can ask for them to be deleted, by emailing llbnkorean@gmail.com. Deletion removes login and purchase history, which also removes clean-export entitlement. We will not discriminate against you for making a request. We respond within 45 days.
Retention and security
Sign-in links last 20 minutes. Purchase records last until you ask for deletion. Session cookies last 30 days and are not readable by page scripts.
